Privacy policy

AI Guide (ai-guide.online) is an independent, English-language directory of Chinese AI tools. This page explains what happens to data when you visit it. It is short on purpose and written in plain language.

What we collect

We do not run accounts, logins or a contact database, and you can read every page without giving us anything. Two kinds of data are still collected automatically:

• Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request data — IP address, browser user-agent, the page requested and the time — for security and to keep the site online.
• Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read. It sets cookies and reports aggregated, pseudonymous usage (pages viewed, approximate region, device type). It is not used to identify you personally.

Cookies

Cookies may be set by our analytics provider and, where advertising is shown, by our advertising partners. You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings; the site works without them.

Advertising

This site may display advertising supplied by third-party networks (for example Adsterra, and possibly Google AdSense). Those networks may set their own cookies or use non-cookie identifiers to limit how often you see an ad and to measure it. Their handling of that data is covered by their own privacy policies, not this one. Where required by law, ad partners that personalise advertising ask for consent before doing so.

Affiliate links

Some outbound links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and later subscribe to a paid plan, the vendor may pay us a commission. The link may carry an identifier that tells the vendor the visit came from us. It does not give us access to your account or your billing details, and it never changes a verdict.

Email you send us

If you email [email protected] — to suggest a tool or report a stale price — we keep the message only as long as it takes to act on it. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not sell or share your address.

Your choices

• Set your browser to block third-party cookies or all cookies.
• Use the officialGoogle Analytics opt-outadd-on to stop analytics cookies being set by any site.
• Email us to ask what we hold about you, or to have it removed.

What we do not do

We do not sell your data, we do not build profiles of individual readers, and we do not collect more than the two categories above.

Children

This site is aimed at a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

If how we handle data changes — for example, if a new advertising partner is added — this page is updated and the date at the top moves with it.
